“Several months ago my then 4 ½ year old grandson said to me “Noni you want to live a long time so you can see my babies, huh? Well right then, I vowed to eat healthier because yes I do want to live a long time. Being an overweight junk food and fast food junkie it wasn’t going to be easy. So, along with my husband, I started seeing Kelly.

At the first session I learned the phrase “mindful eating”. Instead of snacking on candy and potato chips washed down with a Coke, I snack on nuts and fresh fruit and vegetables and drink lots and lots of water. After just 3 sessions I no longer eat (okay maybe once or twice) junk food and rarely drink soda’s and I had lost 8 pounds. After 7 sessions with Kelly I don’t grave the sweets and salty foods and have lost a total of 15 pounds. My skin is no longer too tight for my body. I have way more energy and sleep like a lamb.

“Before working with Kelly, I was slightly overweight and suffering from chronic pain due to arthritis. My wife and I decided we wanted to start eating healthier and lose some weight. In just 7 sessions I have lost about 10 pounds. I have learned to eat my food slowly and enjoy it instead of gulping it down. After 2 sessions, I inquired about a gluten-free diet to control my chronic pain. Kelly provided me with an elimination diet and instructed my wife and I on how to proceed.

Within 2 weeks of starting a gluten-free diet I stopped taking pain meds for the arthritis or meds for acid reflux. Because my pain level is down and I don’t take meds, I sleep better and have more energy. Kelly has been a wonderful resource for helping us learn how to eat gluten-free, like recognizing the hidden gluten in processed foods. She is very knowledgeable and works with you to personalize her recommended course for healthy living.”
